NMI Login is split across several portals by role. Use merchantcentral.nmi.com for Merchant Central (portfolio CRM for ISOs/partners). Talk to Our TeamOverview & Key Features
NMI operates several login portals split by role and product. The three primary entry points are merchantcentral.nmi.com (Merchant Central CRM for ISOs and partners), secure.nmi.com (Payment Gateway for transaction management), and secure.usaepay.com (USAePay portal for the acquired USAePay platform). Each portal uses separate credentials — even a single user with multiple roles signs in to each portal with different accounts.
- Merchant Central (merchantcentral.nmi.com): For ISOs, partners, and some merchants — portfolio management, residual reports, ScanX underwriting, merchant onboarding, marketing automation.
- NMI Gateway (secure.nmi.com): For transaction management — routing rules, payment method setup, fraud rules, recurring billing administration, API credentials.
- USAePay (secure.usaepay.com): For USAePay merchants acquired into the NMI ecosystem in 2021 — virtual terminal, transaction history, recurring billing, customer vault.
- USAePay Partner (secure.usaepay.com): For USAePay resellers and ISO partners — merchant account management, gateway settings, and partner-level reporting.
- Reseller-Branded Portals: Many ISOs offer custom-branded login URLs (gateway.yourprovider.com) that pass through to the same NMI infrastructure.
- Phishing Protection Tips: Always type the URL directly or use a bookmark — never sign in from email links. Check that the URL exactly matches the expected domain.
- Multi-Factor Authentication: All NMI portals support MFA via authenticator apps or SMS. Reseller-managed accounts may require MFA per partner policy.
- Password Reset Flow: Each portal has its own forgot-password flow. On reseller-managed accounts, the reseller may control resets — contact them if email arrives.

NMI Login — Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about NMI login portals and access.
What is the main NMI login URL?+
There are several NMI login portals, split by role. The two main ones are Merchant Central (merchantcentral.nmi.com) for portfolio management and secure.nmi.com for gateway access. USAePay users have their own — secure.usaepay.com.
Which NMI login should I use?+
If you work with merchant portfolios, residuals, or onboarding, go through the NMI merchant login (Merchant Central). For transaction management and payment configuration, use the NMI gateway login. USAePay customers should keep using the USAePay login portal.
Can I access all NMI portals with one login?+
NMI is moving in the direction of unified sign-in across its platforms, but right now Merchant Central and the gateway portal still use separate credentials. To get the right NMI login for your account and role, the fastest path is your ISO or NMI reseller.
Where is the NMI sign in page?+
Your NMI sign in page depends on your role: the gateway sign-in is at secure.nmi.com, portfolios and residuals use Merchant Central (merchantcentral.nmi.com), and a USAePay sign in uses secure.usaepay.com. Use the portal buttons above to open the right NMI login page. Resellers and ISOs have a separate NMI partner login; terminal reporting uses the NMI WebMIS login.
NMI login not working — how do I reset my password?+
If your NMI login is not working, use the "forgot password" link on your portal (Merchant Central, gateway, or USAePay) to reset it. Locked out after several attempts, or need a two-factor (2FA) reset? Reseller-managed accounts are unlocked by your ISO — the fastest path to restore access.
